Travel Insurance
Purchasing travel insurance is highly recommeded by the US Department of State and most adoption agencies. In the event that you should need medical care while in Ethiopia, chances are good that you will need to be medically evacuated. Without travel insurance, this could cost in excess of $40,000 US dollars. Below are a list of companies that provide travel insurance. Your travel agent or adoption agency may also have suggestions of companies with which they have previously worked.
